SWATCH: The Simple WATCHer

I recommend that swatch users subscribe to at least one of the following lists by clicking on them:

swatch-announce
swatch-users

The release version of swatch 3.0.4 is now available via FTP at

ftp://ftp.stanford.edu/general/security-tools/swatch/swatch-3.0.4.tar.gz,

or via the web at

http://www.oit.ucsb.edu/~eta/swatch/swatch-3.0.4.tar.gz.

It should have an MD5 checksum of ce290dd2cae6ce834f59e24d97a30d3b You should view the README file before downloading and trying out the new version. If you are unfamiliar with swatch then you should first read the paper that Stephen Hansen and I presented at the 1993 LISA conference. Then you should read the new man page.

For those of you who are feeling brave, feel free to try out the very latest and only minimally tested code found in ftp://ftp.stanford.edu/general/security-tools/swatch/snapshots/.
